The ingenuity of our customers never ceases to amaze us… back in June we were contacted by a potential customer who had let’s say… an unusual project – to build a rocket cockpit for his space mad 5 year old son! The whole idea had started when he stumbled across a £1 joystick in a charity shop.
The budget for charger and batteries was £40.00, which was unfortunately a fair bit short as the cheapest suitable charger (the CTEK XS 0.8) was close to this alone.
We desperately wanted to help as Steve’s enthusiasm radiated from his emails… so after a bit of thought we realised that we had some suitable batteries that (due to a manufacturing error had a capacity of 70% and ) were unsellable. On purchase of the charger we threw in a couple of the batteries.
